And Melancholy passes by
Breathing softly
She remembers the fading
The slowly discolouring
And she sighs
Wind knows he must not waver
Not stop in his tracks
To place his shadow of a touch
On her cheek
And so I stand by the window
Watching
Listening
Breathing
I no longer dream of the
Past long gone
With every drawing in
And letting out
Tears already found their pathway
Through night air
No longer
Lingering
